Hyundai Motor America announced N Performance Parts for IONIQ 5 N and Elantra N, adding carbon fiber, Alcantara, and forged wheels. Explore details and availability.

Hyundai has introduced a dedicated N Performance Parts lineup in the United States, bringing carbon fiber components, Alcantara interior elements, and forged wheels to owners of the IONIQ 5 N and Elantra N who are looking for more than just visual upgrades.

The new range covers both design and functional enhancements. It includes a carbon-fiber rear wing and side mirrors for the Elantra N, an Alcantara steering wheel and interior trim, 19-inch matte black forged alloy wheels, along with floor mats, scuff plates, wheel caps, and decals. These parts will be available through selected Hyundai dealers in the U.S., with additional items expected to be introduced throughout 2026 and beyond.

The launch reflects Hyundai’s broader N strategy, first introduced in 2015 and built around development at the Namyang R&D Center in Korea and testing at Germany’s Nürburgring. The brand’s core idea is to create vehicles that deliver track-level performance while remaining usable in everyday driving.

This philosophy extends directly to the new accessories. Hyundai emphasizes that the components are engineered with motorsport influence. The company’s involvement in WRC and TCR racing feeds into development, and technologies used in race cars such as the Elantra N TCR inform production vehicles and related parts.

The choice of materials reinforces this approach. Carbon fiber is used for its combination of strength and low weight, while Alcantara is widely applied in performance cars for its grip and durability. Hyundai’s accessory catalog specifically highlights the use of 100% carbon fiber for certain components.

The structure of the lineup mirrors established industry practices. BMW, for example, offers M Performance Parts with carbon elements, Alcantara trim, and forged wheels aimed at improving aerodynamics and handling. Hyundai is now positioning its N models within the same factory-backed performance accessories segment.

The IONIQ 5 N plays a central role in this expansion. As the brand’s first fully electric N model, it produces up to 650 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. The Elantra N, powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 276 horsepower, represents a more traditional performance approach, but both models now share access to the same ecosystem of upgrades.

Pricing for individual N Performance Parts has not yet been disclosed. Catalog listings indicate that availability and pricing details will be announced later, as the lineup continues to grow.

Hyundai has already confirmed that the program will expand beyond current models, with additional N Performance Parts planned for future vehicles, positioning this initiative as a long-term extension of the N brand.
