Bentley Home revealed a new furniture collection at Milan Design Week 2026, highlighting natural materials, craftsmanship and a shift toward durable, low-impact design.

Bentley Home shifted the focus from visual luxury to tactile experience and longevity, unveiling a new collection at Milan Design Week 2026 built around materials designed to evolve over time rather than remain unchanged.

Presented in Milan, the collection includes sofas, armchairs, tables and trunks, where the emphasis lies not only on form but on how each piece interacts with its materials. Natural resins and layered shellac lacquers are used to create subtle depth, enhancing the way surfaces respond to light without relying on decorative excess. This approach reflects an architectural mindset that prioritises durability over spectacle.

Textiles play an equally central role. Locally produced fabrics made from wool, alpaca, cotton, linen and mohair contribute to what designers describe as a “sensory landscape” — an environment shaped by touch and the gradual ageing of materials. This direction aligns with broader developments in the furniture industry, where natural resources and product longevity are becoming increasingly important.

The collection was introduced during Milan Design Week, a global design event established in 1961 and widely regarded as a key platform for defining industry trends. Participation in the event remains a critical way for brands to signal shifts in design priorities and long-term strategy.

The new Bentley Home pieces reflect a clear evolution. Forms are softer, the visual language lighter, and traditional wood-dominated aesthetics give way to more fluid and unified silhouettes. This is evident in the Embrace sofa, with its continuous leather outer shell, and in the Continuum chair, whose open structure allows light and space to pass through.

The collection was developed in collaboration with designers Carlo Colombo and Federico Peri, whose work often bridges architecture and product design. Their involvement reinforces the idea of the collection as a cohesive system, where each piece contributes to a broader visual and functional narrative.

Production is handled by Luxury Living Group, an Italian company with more than 40 years of experience in high-end furniture and a global distribution network. Bentley Home itself, now over a decade old and present in more than 60 stores worldwide, operates within this international framework.

Rather than a standalone launch, the collection is presented as part of a wider transformation. Bentley is placing greater emphasis on low-impact materials and durability as core values. This direction mirrors a broader shift within the furniture industry toward sustainability, circular practices and longer product life cycles.
