Lucid Gravity Launches at IAA Munich with Record Range and Tech

Lucid unveils Gravity SUV at IAA Munich: up to 748 km WLTP range, 926V charging, DreamDrive 2 with NVIDIA tech. Orders open, deliveries start 2026.
Lucid took center stage at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich with the European debut of its flagship electric SUV, the Lucid Gravity. This milestone marks the official start of Lucid’s expansion into the European market, with orders now open and first deliveries scheduled for early 2026.
The spotlight was on the Grand Touring trim, which blends three-row seating for up to seven passengers, generous cargo capacity, and impressive driving dynamics. Its 617 kW (839 hp) powertrain launches the SUV from 0–100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, while the 123 kWh battery delivers up to 748 km of WLTP range. The 926-volt architecture allows up to 400 km of charge in only 14 minutes, and a patented boost solution ensures compatibility with lower-voltage stations across Europe.
Inside, the Gravity offers a tech-forward experience: a sweeping 34-inch 6K OLED display, a horizontal pilot panel, and an optional AR head-up display create a cockpit-like feel. The latest Lucid UX 3.0 software introduces profile-based personalization, and over-the-air updates keep the system evolving over time.
Driver assistance is equally advanced. DreamDrive™ 2 is now standard on all trims, powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Orin hardware. Features include 3D Surround View, Adaptive Lane Biasing, and preparation for Hands-Free Drive Assist, which Lucid plans to activate later in 2025 through an OTA update.
Practicality remains a strong point: the three-row cabin transforms to provide up to 3,398 liters of cargo space, and the 230-liter frunk can even double as a seating area when parked. An optional Dynamic Handling Package with active rear steering and a towing kit (up to 2,500 kg capacity) make the Gravity a capable long-distance tourer.
Pricing for the Gravity Grand Touring starts at €116,900 in Germany, €119,900 in the Netherlands, CHF 125,900 in Switzerland, and NOK 1,249,000 in Norway. The Touring trim, featuring a smaller 89 kWh battery and around 545 km of WLTP range, will follow later with a starting price of €99,900 in Germany.
With its combination of range, space, and technology, Lucid aims to take on rivals like the Tesla Model X, Mercedes EQS SUV, and BMW iX. The brand’s European studios are already operating in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Norway, with further network growth expected as the launch date approaches.
