Bugatti Brouillard’s European Premiere at Wheels Mariënwaerdt

Bugatti unveils Brouillard hypercar in Europe at Wheels Mariënwaerdt, highlighting Programme Solitaire and Perridon Collection backdrop.
Bugatti has brought its one-of-a-kind hypercar, the Brouillard, to Europe, making a striking appearance at the prestigious Wheels Mariënwaerdt Concours d’Elegance in the Netherlands. This was far more than a routine showcase: the Brouillard is the very first creation of Bugatti’s newly launched Programme Solitaire, a coachbuilding initiative that will produce no more than two bespoke masterpieces each year.
The presentation took place on the picturesque grounds of Landgoed Mariënwaerdt, where the world’s largest Bugatti collection — the Perridon Collection — was on display. More than 30 iconic Bugatti models provided an impressive backdrop for the debut, emphasizing the rarity and significance of the new car.
The Brouillard embodies Bugatti’s philosophy of combining technical excellence with heritage. Powered by the marque’s 8.0-liter W16 engine delivering 1,600 PS, the car features a bespoke coupé silhouette and exquisite details: a hand-crafted horse sculpture on the gear selector and carefully stitched equine motifs in the cabin. These touches pay tribute to Ettore Bugatti’s passion for equestrianism, turning the hypercar into a moving work of art.
Bugatti Automobiles Managing Director Hendrik Malinowski described the Brouillard as a result of close creative collaboration between the brand’s designers and its discerning customer. He highlighted that its European bow has ignited fresh enthusiasm for Bugatti and underlined the brand’s commitment to bespoke automotive artistry.
The appearance of the Brouillard at Wheels Mariënwaerdt sends a strong signal to collectors and enthusiasts. The event, already known as the most prestigious automotive gathering in the Netherlands, is increasingly becoming a stage for headline debuts — and it may well host future one-off projects born from Programme Solitaire.
