Aston Martin is strengthening its foothold in Italy with the opening of a new showroom in Rome. The British marque, renowned for blending luxury, design, and sporting character, has chosen the capital as the location for a boutique space where customers will experience its latest models this year. A full-service dealership is planned for 2026.

The project is led in partnership with Maldarizzi Automotive S.p.A., a company with more than forty years of history. Founded in Bari in 1979, Maldarizzi today operates a network of dealerships across Apulia and Basilicata. Its portfolio spans Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, MG, and others. With this breadth of expertise, Maldarizzi has become a key player in southern Italy and now takes responsibility for Aston Martin in Rome.

Equally significant is the acquisition by Gino S.p.A. of all Aston Martin operations in Verona. Based in northern Italy, the group has long worked with premium and luxury brands, including Maserati, Lotus, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. In 2025, Gino officially assumed management of the Aston Martin showroom and service center in Verona, strengthening its presence in the Veneto region.

Verona itself is already home to Ferrari and Lamborghini dealerships, creating a highly competitive landscape for performance cars. In Rome, the picture is even broader, with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce represented. Aston Martin’s entry into this environment underscores the brand’s determination to secure a strong position among Italy’s most prestigious names.

Italy remains one of Aston Martin’s most important European markets. In 2024, the marque achieved a record average selling price of €268,000. Commercial director Andreas Bareis highlighted the momentum, noting a 54% increase in sales in Italy, which has now become the company’s third-largest market in Europe.

Alongside expanding its dealer network, Aston Martin is preparing to launch the Valhalla, its first mid-engined plug-in hybrid hypercar. Deliveries are scheduled for the second half of 2025, with production limited to 999 units. The model’s appeal lies in its technical architecture: a combination of three electric motors and a high-performance battery with dielectric cooling.

At the heart of the brand’s strategy is design and personalization. The “Q by Aston Martin” program allows customers to collaborate directly with the marque’s designers to shape a car that reflects their vision. In Italy, where aesthetics and style are deeply valued, this approach carries particular resonance.
