Audi has officially unveiled the new A6 Avant, reaffirming its commitment to the station wagon segment. Despite the industry-wide shift toward electric vehicles, the German automaker continues to produce models powered by internal combustion engines while integrating hybrid technologies and cutting-edge digital solutions.

The exterior of the new Audi A6 Avant remains unmistakably Audi, featuring more dynamic lines and improved aerodynamics. Compared to its predecessor, the body has grown slightly longer, enhancing both its sleek silhouette and the spaciousness of the cabin.

For now, two powertrain options have been confirmed:

  • Petrol Engine – A 2.0-liter turbocharged unit delivering 201 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h.
  • Diesel Engine – A 2.0-liter mild hybrid system, featuring Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive. It reaches 100 km/h in 7.0 seconds and has a top speed of 238 km/h.

Official pricing for the new Audi A6 Avant in Europe starts at €64,450, with more powerful all-wheel-drive variants ranging between €77,250 and €81,450, depending on the configuration.

The interior is highlighted by a 14.5-inch infotainment screen, complemented by an 11-inch digital instrument cluster. High-end trims also feature an optional 10.9-inch passenger display. The revamped multimedia system supports voice commands, smartphone integration, and an enhanced navigation system with predictive traffic updates.

The Audi A6 Avant competes directly with the BMW 5 Series Touring and Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate. With its latest generation, the model emphasizes digital advancements, ergonomics, and efficiency, positioning itself as a compelling choice for business-class buyers who seek a balance between performance and comfort.

Despite the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market, Audi continues to embrace traditional formats. The new A6 Avant showcases how the brand adapts to modern trends while staying true to the core values that have long defined its appeal to loyal customers.
