Jeep Badge of Honor program adds new trails and challenges

Jeep expands its Badge of Honor program with new trails, digital routes, and in-app features celebrating off-road exploration and community spirit.
To celebrate International Off-Road Day, Jeep has expanded its renowned Badge of Honor program — a community initiative that has united off-road enthusiasts for more than a decade. The latest update introduces new trails, digital routes, and unique challenges designed to deepen engagement and reward exploration.
Launched in 2013, the Badge of Honor program allows Jeep owners to earn both digital and physical badges by completing designated off-road trails. Over the years, it has grown into a full-fledged social and competitive platform. By 2024, it included around 68 trails across 23 U.S. states — and its reach continues to expand.
The newest release adds six fresh challenges, from “Trail Titan” to “Moab Marvel,” along with accessible Digital Trails suited for every skill level. Among the new Core Trails are routes in Oklahoma, Idaho, New Mexico, South Dakota, Alabama, and Utah. Completing these earns drivers physical badges they can proudly display on their vehicles.
The upgraded Badge of Honor app features an interactive map with improved filters, trail images, user ratings, and detailed information. Through Jeep Adventure Guides integrated into the Uconnect 5 navigation system, users can download Trails Offroad guides directly to their vehicles, making it easier and safer to navigate new terrain.
Jeep’s expansion also aligns with its electrification strategy. Since 2021, in partnership with Electrify America, the brand has installed charging stations near major Badge of Honor trailheads, supporting hybrid and electric Jeep 4xe models on their off-road journeys.
Beyond technology, Jeep partners with environmental groups such as Tread Lightly! and the Green Lane Association to promote responsible off-roading practices that protect natural habitats and preserve trail access.
For Jeep, the Badge of Honor program is more than a rewards system — it’s a living expression of the brand’s spirit. It celebrates community, adventure, and the enduring belief that freedom begins where the pavement ends.
