League of Legends Mercedes-Benz CLA Art Piece debuts for Worlds 2025

Mercedes-Benz and Riot Games unveil Worlds 2025 CLA Art Piece
Mercedes-Benz has marked the start of the 2025 League of Legends World Championship with the unveiling of the unique League of Legends Mercedes-Benz CLA Art Piece in Stuttgart. The project continues the brand’s partnership with Riot Games, launched in 2020, blending automotive design with the culture of global esports. Handcrafted and inspired by the new Summoner’s Cup, the artwork is based on the Mercedes-Benz CLA and belongs to the Class of Creators series — a collection of five design collaborations with artists and cultural figures. The League of Legends edition mirrors the trophy’s visual elements: a silver-chrome finish, blue sapphires, and gold accents. The chassis bears engravings of all Worlds champions from 2011 to 2024, turning the car into a symbolic monument to the tournament’s history. The redesigned Summoner’s Cup, created by Tiffany & Co., has been refined with lighter proportions while retaining its silver and gold craftsmanship. These qualities are echoed in the CLA Art Piece, where Mercedes-Benz engineering meets the elegance of fine art. The 2025 Worlds will run from October 14 to November 9 across Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu. The semifinals will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, while the grand final will be held at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Gymnasium in Chengdu. For Mercedes-Benz, the partnership is more than sponsorship — it is a way to strengthen its connection to digital culture and a younger audience. The Class of Creators initiative exemplifies Mercedes-Benz’s growing engagement with creative communities. Other collaborators include Ice Spice, Gustaf Westman, KidSuper, and Hot Wheels. The collaboration with Riot Games serves as the collection’s finale — and a bridge between the physical world of design and the virtual stage of esports. Currently showcased as an exclusive piece, the artwork is expected to appear during the Worlds 2025 opening in Shanghai and later at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.
