Lucid strengthens California presence with new San Jose and San Diego locations

Lucid Group opens new Studio and Service Centers in San Jose and San Diego, expanding its California retail footprint and improving customer access across the state
Lucid Group has expanded its presence in California with the opening of two new Studio and Service Centers in San Jose and San Diego, marking another step in the company’s steady retail growth. The announcement came on October 13, 2025, as Lucid continues to strengthen its footprint in one of the most significant markets for electric vehicles in the United States.
The San Jose facility opened over the weekend with a ribbon-cutting event attended by Mayor Matt Mahan, Lucid executives, and local owners. Located at 250 Stockton Avenue in downtown San Jose, it offers convenient access between Highways 280 and 87. The San Diego Studio and Service Center, situated at 4141 Ruffin Road near Interstate 15, is scheduled to open on November 8.
With these additions, Lucid now operates 15 Studios and Service Centers across California and 64 globally. According to Erwin Raphael, Vice President of Revenue at Lucid, the brand’s growing appeal stems from a blend of range, performance, and distinctive California-inspired design.
California remains the leading EV market in the U.S., with over 100,000 zero-emission vehicles registered in the second quarter of 2025, according to the state’s Energy Commission. Against this backdrop, Lucid’s decision to expand its physical network reflects its ambition to compete more effectively with Tesla, Rivian, and Polestar while improving accessibility and service quality for its customers.
Every Lucid Studio is designed to offer a personalized experience, whether visitors engage in person or online. While the company has not disclosed specific numerical targets for further expansion in the U.S., its strategy indicates a continued focus on delivering a refined customer journey supported by an expanding national network.
