Designer Panos Gotsis unveiled his first womenswear line at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Moments in Munich, blending craftsmanship, tradition, and electric innovation.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Moments concluded in Munich with an event that blended fashion, craftsmanship, and innovation. In the historic Reithalle at Gut Kerschlach, designer Panos Gotsis unveiled his first womenswear collection, extending his aesthetic that unites minimalism with traditional handwoven fabrics from the Greek region of Epirus. His creations have appeared in series like And Just Like That and Emily in Paris, and he is a participant of Der Berliner Salon, known for showcasing emerging designers.

The Munich show featured a calm palette — from beige to deep blue — enriched with fine hand embroidery, sometimes hidden in the structure of the garments. Natural materials such as cotton and wool, woven by hand, carried both aesthetic and philosophical meaning: a connection between heritage and modernity. Fifteen models walked the runway, with Mercedes-Benz brand ambassador Franziska Knuppe closing the show in a Gotsis design.

The event reflected Mercedes-Benz’s ongoing dialogue between art and engineering. Alongside the show, guests experienced the new electric G 580, the first fully electric G-Class model equipped with four motors and the G-Turn function. On the off-road course at Gut Kerschlach, attendees tested the vehicle’s power and precision under expert guidance.

The weekend opened at Munich’s Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA), where visitors explored the exhibition by Portuguese artist Vhils. A dinner at the Mural restaurant set a relaxed tone, merging art, gastronomy, and conversations about design. The program concluded with a visit to Studio Odeonsplatz, where Panos Gotsis hosts a pop-up store until October 19. Partners included Madame & Monsieur, Supernutural, Heinrich Dinkelacker, and Henry Stevens.

Once again, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Moments confirmed the brand’s role as a connector between design and innovation. Through events like this, Mercedes-Benz illustrates how fashion, craftsmanship, and sustainability can coexist and form a new cultural dialogue — one where technology and creativity move forward together.
