Porsche has opened its ninth Charging Lounge in Evendorf, Lower Saxony, offering 400 kW chargers, modern amenities, and 24/7 access for Taycan and Macan drivers via the Porsche Charging Service.

In northern Germany, Porsche’s exclusive Charging Lounge network has gained a new location — in Evendorf, Nordheide, near the Lüneburg Heath. The ninth facility of its kind is situated off the A7 motorway, which links the north and south of the country. The site’s position is strategic, serving electric Porsche drivers traveling between Hamburg and the North or Baltic Sea coasts.

The Evendorf lounge features six high-power DC chargers, each delivering up to 400 kW. Porsche confirms that full output remains available even when all stations are in use. This means a Taycan can charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 18 minutes, while a Macan needs just 21.

The interior follows the brand’s refined design language — minimal, modular, and comfortable. Visitors find soft lounge chairs, a coffee machine, snacks and cold drinks, Wi-Fi, and two modern restrooms. Outside, covered seating areas with built-in speakers provide a relaxed atmosphere. Access is available 24 hours a day via Porsche ID, Charging Card, or a QR code from the My Porsche app. If the vehicle’s plate is linked to the ID, the gate opens automatically.

Evendorf is the second Porsche Charging Lounge on the A7, after Estenfeld, expanding consistent coverage across Germany’s key routes. In total, nine lounges are now open — in Bingen am Rhein, Hamburg, Ingolstadt, Leonberg, Ringsheim, and abroad in Koblach (Austria) and Nyon (Switzerland).

The Porsche Charging Service already connects more than 900,000 charging points in 27 European countries. Plus customers benefit from partner rates of €0.39 per kWh at IONITY, Aral pulse, GoFast, and Fines Charging. Payments and authorizations are handled centrally through the Porsche Charging Service, ensuring convenience and transparency.

In July 2025, Auto Bild rated the My Porsche app as the best OEM charging service, praising its pricing model, usability, and network coverage. The new Evendorf site is another step in Porsche’s strategy to define a premium standard for charging infrastructure — where efficiency meets comfort and design.
