BMW Charging and MINI Charging launch a new fleet solution with Digital Charging Solutions GmbH, offering centralized billing and Plug & Charge functionality for small and medium businesses.

BMW Group is taking another step forward in corporate electromobility. BMW Charging and MINI Charging, in partnership with Digital Charging Solutions GmbH (DCS), have launched a new fleet application designed to simplify cost control and automate the billing of vehicle charging for businesses.

The system connects all driver accounts to a single company account, generating one consolidated invoice for all charging sessions. Fleet drivers continue to enjoy the same features and tariffs as private users, fully integrated with the My BMW App and MINI App. The service is aimed primarily at small and medium-sized enterprises managing up to 50 electric vehicles.

Implementation is straightforward: the fleet manager registers the company with CHARGE NOW, drivers create business accounts within BMW or MINI Charging, and all profiles are linked for automatic billing. This removes the need for manual reimbursements, reduces administrative work, and brings full transparency to fleet charging costs.

The solution was rolled out in August 2025 across eleven European markets — including Germany, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom — followed in September by eight additional countries such as Sweden, Poland, Czechia, and Finland.

Digital Charging Solutions GmbH, one of Europe’s leading providers of charging services, underpins the platform technologically. The company is jointly owned by BMW Group, Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG, and bp, reflecting the broad, cross-industry cooperation behind the project.

Using the Plug & Charge standard (ISO 15118), the service enables seamless authentication and payment at compatible stations without the need for cards or apps — an approach increasingly supported under the European AFIR regulation encouraging smart-charging networks.

Together, BMW and MINI’s new business solution illustrates how digital innovation can make the electrification of corporate fleets more efficient, transparent, and ready for the next phase of sustainable mobility.
