Porsche introduces the first fully electric Macan GTS with 571 hp, 586 km range, and advanced chassis tuning, produced in Leipzig for the 2026 model year.

Porsche continues its electric expansion with the debut of the Macan GTS — the first fully electric version of the iconic SUV. Designed as the sportiest member of the Macan Electric lineup, the GTS combines pure performance with precision handling worthy of the brand’s heritage.

At its core lies the same rear motor used in the Turbo version, featuring a 900-amp silicon-carbide inverter. Combined with the front motor, it delivers up to 420 kW (571 hp) and 955 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.8 seconds, while top speed is limited to 250 km/h. A 100 kWh battery provides up to 586 kilometers of range (WLTP) and charges from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes at 270 kW.

The GTS chassis has been tuned for agility. A sports air suspension lowers the car by 10 millimeters, while its specific damper and anti-roll bar setup enhances cornering precision. An electronically controlled rear differential lock and the fast-reacting ePTM system ensure ideal power distribution, supported by Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and optional rear-axle steering.

Visually, the Macan GTS features signature black accents, new side skirts and 21-inch Macan Design wheels. Three colors — Crayon, Carmine Red and Lugano Blue — highlight its sporty character. Inside, the cabin mixes Race-Tex materials with smooth leather and carbon-fiber details, while decorative stitching and seatbelts can match the exterior paint.

Pricing for the Macan GTS starts at €104,200 in Germany, with U.S. deliveries expected in spring 2026 at around $103,000–105,000. Production takes place in Leipzig, where Porsche operates a carbon-neutral facility powered by renewable energy.

The GTS joins the Macan Electric family alongside the 4, 4S and Turbo versions. While the Turbo offers greater peak output, the GTS focuses on handling and driver engagement. Its enhanced track mode and battery cooling system help maintain power under continuous load, underscoring its performance focus.

Industry observers note that the arrival of the GTS completes the first generation of the electric Macan line. Porsche officials say the company will continue to expand its EV portfolio while staying true to its core values of driving pleasure, craftsmanship and distinct character.
