The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer marks a new era for the brand with a range-extended electric system, refreshed design, and pricing starting under $65,000.

Jeep has taken a major step toward electrification with the debut of the 2026 Grand Wagoneer, the first range-extended SUV (REEV) in America. The lineup now falls under one unified name, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, reflecting the brand’s strategy to simplify its range and reinforce its flagship identity.

The heart of the update lies under the hood. Alongside the 3.0-liter Hurricane Twin Turbo engine delivering 420 horsepower and up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity, Jeep introduces a REEV setup combining a 3.6-liter V6, a 130-kW generator, and a 92-kWh battery pack. The system produces 647 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in about five seconds, and promises a total range exceeding 500 miles — offering electric performance with long-distance freedom free from charging anxiety.

The exterior design evolves toward modern refinement: chrome disappears completely, the illuminated grille and headlights emphasize width, and new color options and wheel designs up to 22 inches appear. Inside, customers will find upgraded materials, Nappa or Palermo leather, McIntosh audio systems with up to 23 speakers, an enlarged head-up display, and a focus on serene, premium comfort.

Production is based at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan, backed by nearly $98 million in Stellantis investments to support electrified models. Pricing starts below $65,000 — a notable threshold for a full-size luxury SUV. Analysts expect the Grand Wagoneer REEV to strengthen Jeep’s standing in a market where electrified options often require compromises, offering instead a blend of power, range, and unmistakably American character.
