Toyota Wins 14th Manufacturers’ Championship in NASCAR Truck Series
Toyota clinched its 14th NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Manufacturers’ Championship after a standout 2025 season led by Corey Heim and TRICON Garage.
Toyota reaffirmed its dominance in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series by capturing its 14th Manufacturers’ Championship title. Clinched during the Martinsville weekend, the achievement marks Toyota’s third such triumph in the past five seasons and extends its historical lead in the series.
The 2025 campaign proved exceptional for the Japanese manufacturer. Toyota drivers celebrated 13 race victories, recorded 37 top-five and 58 top-ten finishes, and collected 25 stage wins—a testament to the consistency of Toyota Racing Development’s strategy and engineering strength.
Corey Heim of TRICON Garage emerged as the standout figure of the season. In his third full-time campaign, Heim claimed 11 wins—a new series record—along with unprecedented totals of 65 playoff points and 21 stage wins. His dominance secured the regular-season title and a Championship 4 berth at Phoenix, positioning him as the favorite for the overall crown.
Other Toyota highlights came from Stewart Friesen of Halmar-Friesen Racing, who returned to victory lane at Michigan for the first time since 2022, and Gio Ruggiero, who earned his maiden Truck Series win at Talladega. Kaden Honeycutt, substituting for the injured Friesen, also advanced to the Championship 4 after edging Layne Riggs on a tiebreaker at Martinsville.
Since joining the Truck Series in 2004, Toyota has compiled 247 wins, 188 poles, and now 14 Manufacturers’ Championships. These milestones reflect two decades of collaboration with TRICON Garage and Halmar-Friesen Racing and the technical commitment of Toyota Racing Development. As the season finale approaches in Phoenix, the brand looks to celebrate a year that stands among the most successful in its NASCAR history.
