Toyota announced the 2026 Crown Signia, featuring a hybrid AWD system, 240 hp, and new two-tone colors for the Limited trim. Learn about its key updates.

Toyota continues to refine its Crown lineup, preserving its reputation for understated elegance. The updated 2026 Toyota Crown Signia combines premium comfort, Toyota’s hybrid technology, and new visual accents. The most notable change comes with the Limited grade, which now offers a two-tone paint option pairing a black roof with one of four colors — Storm Cloud, Oxygen White, Finish Line Red, or Bronze Age.

The model is available in two trims — XLE and Limited — both featuring the Toyota Hybrid System and electronic all-wheel drive as standard. The combined output of 240 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 38 mpg make the Crown Signia a well-balanced SUV for daily use and highway travel alike.

Inside, the focus remains on comfort and functionality: leather-trimmed seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and thoughtful ergonomics coexist with practicality. The fold-flat second row extends the cargo area to 6.5 feet in length, while the Limited grade adds a panoramic roof, JBL audio system, and advanced driver-assist features such as Panoramic View Monitor and Traffic Jam Assist.

Engineers paid special attention to noise isolation. The TNGA-K platform structure uses high-strength adhesives and additional insulation, while acoustic glass in the front windows helps create a quiet cabin environment even at speed.

The Crown Signia is built at Toyota’s Tsutsumi Plant in Aichi, Japan. For now, the model is exclusive to the U.S. market, and no European release has been confirmed. German automotive media note that its introduction in Europe is unlikely. Still, the Signia reflects Toyota’s consistent approach — quiet evolution through design precision and hybrid efficiency.
