Peugeot Unveils the Polygon Concept Car and Polygon City in Fortnite
Peugeot introduces the Polygon Concept car with innovative Hypersquare steering and a virtual experience in Fortnite. Explore the future of driving and design today.
Peugeot has unveiled the first image of its new concept car, the Polygon Concept, marking the next step in its design and technological evolution. This project blends the brand's iconic French style with futuristic digital concepts and takes the brand's interaction with its audience beyond the automotive world and into the virtual realm.
Officially confirmed in September 2025, the Polygon Concept follows in the footsteps of the Inception Concept, carrying forward the innovative spirit of Peugeot’s design philosophy. Like its predecessor, it showcases the introduction of Hypersquare—a cutting-edge digital steering system featuring Steer-by-Wire technology, first introduced with the Inception. This system eliminates mechanical links between the steering wheel and the wheels, offering precise response to driver inputs and opening up new possibilities for interior layout.
Alongside the vehicle’s visual debut, Peugeot is launching Polygon City—a virtual island within Fortnite, created in collaboration with Gameloft. The island is designed in the shape of Hypersquare itself, embodying the concept’s new steering philosophy. Here, users will be able to experience elements of the future design and philosophy of Peugeot before the official unveiling of the concept on November 12, 2025, on Peugeot's YouTube channel.
The Polygon City project fits into the brand’s strategy of engaging with new audiences and reinforces Peugeot's growing presence in the gaming world. Partnering with Gameloft, a studio previously involved in collaborations with several automotive brands, marks a natural step in expanding the company’s digital footprint. Polygon City, however, remains an independent initiative and is not directly affiliated with Epic Games.
While detailed technical information on the Polygon Concept is yet to be released, it is clear that this vehicle may feature the next version of Hypersquare, potentially paving the way for future production models of Peugeot. As the November premiere approaches, all eyes are on the design and concept of digital control, which will likely set the tone for the brand's future. The Polygon Concept promises to showcase how Peugeot envisions the harmony between aesthetics, technology, and the future driving experience.
