Lexus presents the Wicked: For Good Karaoke LX at the New York premiere, highlighting its custom design inspired by Elphaba and Glinda. Learn more about the debut.

The New York premiere of Wicked: For Good brought more than a green carpet spectacle — it marked the debut of Lexus’ striking Wicked: For Good Karaoke LX, a custom vehicle designed to echo the energy and visual identity of the film’s iconic witches. Introduced on November 17, the car immediately drew attention from fans and guests arriving for the final chapter of the global phenomenon.

Lexus created the special LX as a playful bridge between the world of Oz and the real one. The exterior combines vivid emerald green and bright pink tones, accented with shimmering gold details that mirror the contrasting personalities of Elphaba and Glinda. The design pulls directly from the visual language of the franchise, giving the vehicle a distinct presence at the premiere.

Inside, the duality continues. The cabin features green and pink upholstery, custom floor mats and mood-lighting zones, all centered around an interactive sound system built for group sing-alongs. Guests could step in, take the microphone and choose from well-known songs from the first film, including “What Is This Feeling?,” “Popular,” and the fan-favorite “Defying Gravity.”

The project is part of a broader collaboration between Lexus and Universal Pictures, launched in October 2025. Their 360-degree campaign includes the 30-second spot “Magic in the Air,” running across Peacock, YouTube and Amazon, along with branded content tied to the film’s release. The partnership highlights how Lexus continues to emphasize emotional engagement by aligning its vehicles with high-profile cultural events.

While Lexus has not disclosed engineering modifications specific to the Karaoke LX, publicly available specifications of the standard 2025 LX — including the 3.4-liter turbo V6 engine, full-time four-wheel drive and luxury-oriented interior — provide context for the platform supporting this visually ambitious version.

With the film set to arrive in theaters on November 21, 2025, the collaboration reflects Lexus’ aim to capture the attention of both franchise fans and audiences drawn to inventive, entertainment-driven automotive showcases.
