Genesis has unveiled the updated GV60, featuring an extended 300-mile range, 490 hp AWD, and a redesigned interior with a 27-inch display. Discover the latest improvements and key details.

Genesis has officially introduced the refreshed version of its premium electric crossover, the GV60, in South Korea. This marks the first major update since its debut in 2021, bringing a longer range, enhanced design, and innovative technologies such as a virtual gear shift and an upgraded infotainment system.

One of the most significant upgrades is the new 84 kWh battery, which extends the driving range to 300 miles (481 km) in Korea’s certification cycle—20 miles more than the previous model with its 77.4 kWh battery. The all-wheel-drive version now boasts up to 490 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 4 seconds with Boost Control engaged.

Beyond performance, Genesis has focused on improving ride comfort. New shock absorbers with enhanced valves minimize road vibrations, while the Electronic Active Sound Design (e-ASD) system ensures a quieter cabin. Driving enthusiasts will enjoy the Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) function, mimicking traditional gear shifts, and a hidden Drift Mode for an extra thrill.

Aesthetic refinements make the GV60 even more striking. The redesigned front bumper, signature Two Line headlights with Micro Lens Array technology, and a body-colored rear skid plate contribute to its modern, confident stance. Inside, the new 27-inch Connected Car Integrated Cockpit seamlessly integrates the instrument cluster and infotainment display, while a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel adds a sporty touch.

The GV60 starts at 64.9 million won ($45,000) in South Korea. In the U.S., pricing begins at $52,350 for the base model, with the top-tier Performance AWD variant priced at $69,900. The refreshed Genesis GV60 is expected to reach global markets later in 2025.
