Porsche and artist Kasing Lung showcase a limited 911 Targa art collectible and an art car at Icons of Porsche 2025, highlighting the anniversary collaboration.

The collaboration between Porsche and artist Kasing Lung has taken a new form at Icons of Porsche 2025 in Dubai, where the two partners presented a limited art collectible and a specially designed art car. Both works celebrate the tenth anniversary of Lung’s “The Monsters” series and the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Targa.

The project brings together two iconic elements: King Mon, one of Lung’s key characters, and the Porsche 911 Targa, first introduced in 1965. The Targa’s distinctive roof bar and its blend of open-air driving with coupe-like comfort form a symbolic backdrop for this artistic collaboration.

At the center of the presentation is the metal sculpture “King Mon in Porsche 911 Targa,” standing just under forty centimeters tall. It made its debut at this year’s Icons of Porsche event and will become available in 2026. The production is limited to sixty pieces, echoing the “60 years of Targa” milestone.

Alongside the collectible, Porsche revealed a full-size art car based on the Porsche 911 Targa (Type 992). Behind the wheel sits a life-size figure of Labubu, Lung’s most recognizable character, dressed in a Porsche T-shirt. The artist created a special visual theme for the car inspired by its Dubai setting, calling the opportunity to place one of his characters inside a real sports car an inspiring first.

Porsche notes that the partnership with Kasing Lung began earlier in 2025, when the artist showcased selected works at the newly opened Porsche NOW showroom in Taipei, invited by Porsche Taiwan. According to the brand, the collaboration highlights the growing connection between creativity, emotional expression, and cultural relevance within Porsche’s identity.

The Icons of Porsche 2025 festival, held on November 22–23 in the Dubai Design District, once again combined automotive culture with art and family-focused activities. This year’s program included thematic spaces and special exhibitions, including one dedicated to the 60-year history of the 911 Targa.

Although Porsche has not yet disclosed the technical details of the art car or the price of the collectible sculpture, interest is already emerging among Porsche fans and art collectors. Kasing Lung’s works continue to gain traction in the art market, and the enduring popularity of his characters may further elevate attention toward this collaboration.
