Bentley Introduces "The Black Rose" Batur: A Bespoke Grand Tourer with 3D-Printed Rose Gold

Bentley presents "The Black Rose" Batur, a limited-edition grand tourer featuring bespoke Black Rose paint and 3D-printed 18K rose gold accents. Discover this exclusive Mulliner creation.
Bentley continues to push the boundaries of luxury automotive design. The British marque has introduced "The Black Rose" Batur, one of just 18 bespoke examples crafted by Mulliner. More than just an expression of exquisite design and craftsmanship, this grand tourer marks a world-first innovation: the use of 3D-printed 18-karat rose gold in automotive manufacturing.
Every Batur is unique, but "The Black Rose" takes personalization to a whole new level. The exterior features a custom Black Rose metallic paint, accented by a gloss Beluga upper body and satin Rose Gold details. The 22-inch tri-tone wheels, grille, and mirror caps also showcase this exclusive color palette, creating a striking yet sophisticated presence.
Inside, the cabin follows the same theme, offering a dark and elegant ambiance. Beluga leather, charcoal grey tweed, and Black Rose-painted veneers create a seamless flow of luxury, but the real highlight is the use of rose gold accents, created through additive manufacturing (3D-printing). This cutting-edge technique adorns key touchpoints such as the Drive Mode Selector, organ stop ventilation controls, and steering wheel marker. In total, the car features 210 grams of sustainably sourced, hallmarked gold, reinforcing Bentley’s commitment to sustainable luxury.
Beneath the sculpted hood, the Batur houses a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12, delivering 740 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This powerhouse enables the grand tourer to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 336 km/h. Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system with active rear-wheel steering, the Batur is engineered for both power and precision.
Bentley is redefining the limits of bespoke craftsmanship. The introduction of 3D-printed precious metals signals a new era of ultra-personalized luxury vehicles. Whether this groundbreaking innovation will make its way into future Bentley models or remain an exclusive feature of Mulliner’s bespoke commissions remains to be seen.
