Audi is once again setting the standard in in-car infotainment by making live sports more accessible to drivers and passengers. The company has become the first automaker to integrate DAZN, the popular sports streaming service, directly into its infotainment system, allowing users to enjoy live broadcasts, highlights, and documentaries without relying on external devices.

Owners of the Audi A5, Audi Q5, Audi A6, Audi A6 e-tron, and Audi Q6 e-tron can now watch UEFA Champions League matches, NFL and NBA games, as well as handball and golf tournaments. The content is displayed on the 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen, making it convenient to catch up on games during a charging break. Meanwhile, passengers can stream DAZN content on the 10.9-inch passenger display, even while the vehicle is in motion, ensuring a seamless entertainment experience.

This integration is made possible through the Audi Application Store and Smartphone Interface, which runs on an Android-based system and already offers a selection of third-party applications, including YouTube, Spotify, and Amazon Music. To use the DAZN app, users need a myAudi account and an active internet connection.

The partnership with DAZN further strengthens Audi’s deep connection to the world of sports. The brand has been actively supporting top-tier sports clubs and events for years, from regional sponsorships to international partnerships with teams like FC Bayern Munich. This latest integration reinforces Audi’s commitment to providing innovative digital experiences that align with its sporting heritage.

Developed in collaboration with CARIAD, Volkswagen Group’s software subsidiary, the DAZN app has been optimized for in-car use. In the future, similar streaming capabilities are expected to be available in other Volkswagen Group brands, expanding in-car entertainment options across the automotive industry.

Audi continues to demonstrate that a car is more than just a means of transportation—it’s an evolving digital space where technology, comfort, and entertainment come together. By bringing DAZN to its infotainment system, Audi is ensuring that sports fans stay connected to the action no matter where the road takes them.
