Mercedes-Benz USA launches VanSolution, a streamlined business model for ordering and installing professional upfits for Sprinter and eSprinter Cargo vans. Learn more about the new process and its benefits.

Mercedes-Benz USA has unveiled VanSolution, a new business model that streamlines the process of ordering, installing, and billing for professional upfit solutions on Sprinter and eSprinter Cargo vans.

Previously, business owners had to work with third-party suppliers to install shelving systems and specialized equipment. Now, with VanSolution, customers can order upfit packages directly through Mercedes-Benz dealerships, consolidating vehicle purchase and professional outfitting into a seamless experience. This reduces wait times, simplifies logistics, and enhances convenience for fleet operators and small business owners alike.

The VanSolution program is built on a strong partnership with Ranger Design, a long-time Mercedes-Benz eXpertUpfitter partner specializing in commercial vehicle equipment solutions. The first offering under this initiative includes factory-installed shelving solutions, available for Sprinter and eSprinter Cargo vans at the Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Processing Center in Ladson, South Carolina. The base shelving package, which includes units for both the left and right sides of the cargo area, is priced starting at $3,152.

Additionally, customers can opt for a partition and flooring solution to enhance cargo and passenger safety. Those needing customized configurations for HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, or other trades can turn to local Ranger Design distributors for further upfitting options tailored to their business needs.

Mercedes-Benz is focusing on efficiency and ease of use for business owners. By integrating upfit solutions into the dealership sales process, the company eliminates the need for separate transactions with third-party suppliers, making the ordering and billing process more streamlined and transparent.

According to Ian Forsyth, Director of Product Management & Marketing, Vans, Mercedes-Benz is committed to delivering not just a vehicle, but a ready-to-work solution that optimizes workflow for commercial users.

This strategic move strengthens Mercedes-Benz’s competitive edge in the commercial van market, where efficiency and customization play a crucial role. With rivals like Ford, RAM, and Rivian investing heavily in upfit and electric vehicle solutions, Mercedes-Benz’s approach to integrated, factory-backed customization could become a major advantage.
