Dodge is offering up to $12,500 off the new Charger Daytona EV, marking a surprising and significant discount for a model that has only recently arrived in showrooms.

According to CarsDirect, Dodge is providing a $7,500 National Retail Customer Cash rebate for all retail buyers. Additionally, there's a $3,000 bonus under the Dodge Performance Days promotion. West Coast residents who do not currently own a Stellantis vehicle can claim an extra $2,000 in conquest cash, pushing total potential savings to $12,500. However, buyers must choose between these incentives and an alternative financing option, which includes 0% APR for 72 months plus an additional $3,000 in savings—the offers cannot be combined.

With these discounts, the base R/T trim, originally priced at $61,590, drops to $49,090 including destination charges, while the Scat Pack version, which starts at $75,185, is reduced to $62,685. The Scat Pack delivers impressive performance with a 0-60 mph time of just 3.3 seconds and a quarter-mile run in 11.5 seconds.

The aggressive incentives may be linked to the fact that the Charger Daytona EV is not eligible for the $7,500 Federal Clean Vehicle Credit in 2025. While this credit does not apply to purchases, a similar amount is available for leasing, which could be another reason Dodge has adjusted its pricing strategy. Previously, the company had already lowered the lease price to $299 per month, making the model more accessible to a broader audience.

Additionally, uncertainty in the U.S. EV market—driven by potential policy changes, including the possibility of reduced federal incentives and tariffs—could influence Dodge’s approach to pricing. Since the Charger Daytona is assembled in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, any future trade policies may further impact costs.

On the technical side, the R/T variant offers 496 horsepower and up to 300 miles of range, while the Scat Pack produces 670 horsepower with a range of around 247 miles. Both support fast charging, reaching 80% battery in about 30 minutes.

The $2,000 conquest bonus applies to West Coast residents, but Dodge has not disclosed specific qualifying states. While sales figures remain unknown since pre-orders began in September 2024, these substantial discounts suggest a strong push to drive demand.

The rebate program runs through March 31, making this a potentially ideal time to purchase Dodge’s new electric muscle car, especially given the uncertainty surrounding future pricing and federal incentives.
