Bentley reports €373M profit in 2024, boosts investment in BEV production and Mulliner customisation, and prepares for its first electric model in 2026.

Bentley Motors has reported its financial results for 2024, marking another year of solid profitability and significant investment in its production future. Despite a 10% revenue drop to €2.648 billion and a 37% decrease in operating profit to €373 million, the company maintained a 14.1% return on sales — the fourth-highest in its 105-year history.

A key driver of Bentley's resilience was the record demand for vehicle personalisation. In 2024, 70% of customers opted for Mulliner bespoke features, pushing the average revenue per car up by 10% over the past two years. This trend continues to fuel Bentley’s ambitious manufacturing transformation at its Crewe facility.

Under the Beyond100+ strategy, Bentley is investing £2.5 billion over ten years to electrify and modernise the Pyms Lane plant. A landmark project is the new BEV assembly line being installed in building A1, the oldest on site. Additionally, a £35 million Launch Quality Centre has been completed, and a new Paint Shop offering nearly 100 colour options will be finalised later this year.

In what was a transitional year, Bentley ended W12 engine production and introduced its new Ultra Performance Hybrid V8. This powertrain delivers 782 PS, enabling 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.2 seconds. The 25.9 kWh battery offers an electric-only range of up to 81 kilometres.

The road ahead is ambitious. Bentley's first fully electric vehicle, a luxury urban SUV, will debut in 2027. After that, the brand plans to launch a new BEV or PHEV every year, aiming for a fully electric portfolio by 2035.

To support this shift, Bentley restructured its global business, establishing the EMEA region — Europe, Middle East, and Africa — as a distinct unit. With 95 retailers across 41 countries, this region now accounts for a third of Bentley's global sales, underscoring its strategic importance for upcoming electric models.

Balancing heritage with transformation, Bentley is laying the groundwork for a fully electric future while maintaining its hallmark focus on individuality and luxury — traits that continue to define the British marque.
