MINI has unveiled the latest version of its iconic Cooper Convertible S, now showcased in a striking Chili Red finish. The model masterfully blends the brand’s recognizable style with fresh design accents, while maintaining its classic proportions. A redesigned front grille and signature round LED headlights with three optional light signatures give the car a modern edge without losing its heritage charm.

Engineered for driving pleasure, the MINI Cooper Convertible S features a suspension and damping system tuned for agility. Its precise steering truly shines on winding roads, making every drive engaging. Under the hood, a 4-cylinder petrol engine delivers 204 hp, propelling the convertible from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. Fuel consumption averages between 6.5 and 6.6 liters per 100 km, with CO₂ emissions ranging from 148 to 150 g/km.

The model is available in Classic, Exclusive, and Sport trims, with a dedicated John Cooper Works version for performance enthusiasts. Standard features include a 9.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and blind-spot monitoring. Optional extras enhance comfort and convenience, such as a Harman Kardon premium audio system, head-up display, and wireless smartphone charging.

Pricing varies by market: starting at $37,200 in the US, £32,845 in the UK, and AU$51,990 in Australia. The new convertible is expected to arrive at dealerships in early 2025.

While no hybrid or electric version of the convertible has been announced, MINI continues to expand its electric lineup with models like the all-electric MINI Cooper SE. Expert reviews from What Car? and Parkers praise the model’s fun driving experience and high-quality interior. However, limited rear seat space and a compact boot remain familiar trade-offs for open-air driving joy.

The model's enduring appeal suggests the new version will continue to attract enthusiasts who value driving excitement and iconic design.
