Audi Q6 e-tron Gains One Year of Free Charging with Electrify America

Audi expands partnership with Electrify America, offering 2025 Q6 e-tron owners one year of free fast charging and Plug&Charge convenience. Learn the details.
Electrify America and Audi have expanded their partnership, offering new 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron owners one year of complimentary fast charging across the nationwide Hyper-Fast network. The package also includes Plug&Charge technology, allowing drivers to simply plug in their vehicle and start charging — no screens, no cards.
The Q6 e-tron, a new addition to Audi's growing e-tron lineup, is now available in the US. Owners can activate their charging benefit through the myAudi app, which also provides station locations and real-time availability. Subscriptions for Audi connect services range from $150 per year for NAV features to $250 annually for the full PLUS package with in-car Wi-Fi and Amazon Alexa.
While Audi has not disclosed the exact conditions of the free charging sessions, comparisons to similar programs suggest potential session or kWh limits. For instance, Volkswagen ID.4 owners receive three years of 30-minute sessions, while BMW i4 and iX users get 1,000 kWh of free charging.
Electrify America's network spans 47 states with over 900 stations and more than 4,000 chargers. Expansion plans aim to reach 6,200 chargers by 2025. Notably, Plug&Charge support extends beyond Audi — Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Lucid, BMW, Porsche, and Volkswagen are all onboard, reflecting a growing industry standard.
For those not enrolled in special programs, Electrify America's pricing varies by state — charging per kWh or by time connected. Idle fees also apply if a vehicle remains plugged in after charging is complete.
With competition intensifying from Tesla’s Supercharger network and Ford’s BlueOval Charge Network, such customer-friendly programs could become key selling points. Especially as public charging costs rise and convenience becomes a top priority for EV buyers. Audi appears to be betting on that — delivering a seamless and predictable charging experience.
