Farizon SV Electric Vans Set to Launch in the UK in 2025

Farizon SV electric vans from Geely Group are entering the UK market in 2025, offering eco-friendly transport solutions and competing with Ford E-Transit and Vauxhall Vivaro Electric. Learn more about their features and range.
Farizon SV electric vans from the Chinese brand Farizon, part of the Geely Group, are making their way to the UK. This move has the potential to significantly reshape the commercial transport market, where demand for eco-friendly and cost-effective solutions is steadily growing. At the same time, the company is actively expanding its dealership network to support future sales and maintenance of its vehicles.
The Farizon SV model is specifically designed for the European market, offering three body size options: from a compact version measuring 4.99 meters in length and 1.98 meters in height to the largest variant with a length of 5.95 meters and a height of 2.5 meters. The cargo compartment volume ranges from 6.9 to 13 cubic meters, with a payload capacity of up to 1,300 kg. The electric vehicle is built on a modular platform with batteries located beneath the floor, ensuring a flat cargo space and increased capacity.
At launch, customers will be able to choose between battery options of 67 kWh and 83 kWh, providing a range of up to 362 km (225 miles). A version with a 106 kWh battery is planned for the future, offering an even longer range. The cabin features three seats and two displays: a compact instrument panel and a large touchscreen for the infotainment system.
Industry experts view the Farizon SV as a direct competitor to models such as the Ford E-Transit Custom and Vauxhall Vivaro Electric. With a broader range of body sizes and a claimed range of up to 225 miles (362 km), the new vehicle is expected to be an attractive option for businesses. There are also expectations that the brand's pricing strategy might be more flexible compared to its competitors, boosting its competitiveness in the market.
The brand’s distributor in the UK is Jameel Motors, which plans to open a flagship dealership in London and up to ten regional branches by the end of the year. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in mid-2025.
Farizon’s expansion into the UK market could become a key milestone in the brand's global strategy. Given the growing demand for electric vehicles in Europe and increasingly stringent environmental standards, the arrival of a new player could intensify competition and accelerate businesses' transition to eco-friendly transport.
