Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Sets New Benchmark for Luxury Convertibles

Discover the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, the world’s fastest front-engine convertible with 835PS V12 power, advanced tech, and bespoke customization options.
Aston Martin has unveiled the new Vanquish Volante — the fastest and most powerful front-engine production convertible by Aston Martin to date. This launch is not just a technical milestone but also a tribute to the 60th anniversary of the iconic Volante line.
At the heart of the new Vanquish Volante is a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 835PS and 1000Nm of torque. This powerhouse accelerates the car from 0 to 62mph in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 214mph (345km/h). Despite the performance boost, engineers limited weight gain to only 95kg, raising the power-to-weight ratio to an impressive 416hp per tonne.
The convertible features an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Its integrated electronic differential ensures rapid torque distribution, enhancing agility in corners and stability at high speeds. Adaptive Bilstein DTX dampers fine-tune the car’s behavior in each mode — GT, Sport, and Sport+ — delivering a refined yet dynamic drive.
Braking is handled by a carbon-ceramic system, 27kg lighter than standard discs, offering exceptional stopping power and fade resistance. Aston Martin’s engineers collaborated with Pirelli to develop bespoke P ZERO™ tires tailored to the Vanquish Volante’s extreme performance demands.
Design-wise, the Volante retains the elegance and muscular presence of its Coupe counterpart. Its new K-fold fabric roof deploys in just 14 seconds and offers thermal and acoustic insulation comparable to the Coupe. Thanks to its compact stack height, the roof preserves the clean silhouette of the car. An optional Titanium exhaust system amplifies the signature V12 howl while reducing weight by 10.5kg.
Inside, modern technology meets British craftsmanship. A digital instrument cluster, Pure Black touchscreen infotainment system, and a premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system create a luxurious grand touring experience. The Q by Aston Martin program allows customers to customize nearly every detail, from unique finishes to bespoke embroidery.
The Vanquish Volante is now available to order in limited numbers — less than 1,000 units per year. First deliveries are scheduled for Q3 2025. Competing against the Ferrari 812 GTS and Bentley Continental GT Convertible, Aston Martin’s new convertible leads in both power and top speed, solidifying its position at the pinnacle of ultra-luxury performance.
The model's legacy dates back to 1965 with the Short Chassis Volante, of which only 37 were produced. Over six decades, the Volante name has become a symbol of elegance and performance. The new Vanquish Volante proudly continues this story, combining cutting-edge engineering with Aston Martin’s rich heritage.
