The new Mercedes-Benz eVito now offers a 90 kWh battery, up to 480 km range (WLTP), two motor options, fast charging, and more for commercial users.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled an upgraded version of its all-electric eVito panel van, now featuring a 90 kWh battery option. This new variant significantly extends the van’s range to up to 480 kilometers (WLTP) and aims to appeal to a broader range of commercial users.

The eVito can now be paired with either an 85 kW or a 150 kW peak output electric motor. The latter, adopted from the eVito Tourer, offers up to 365 Nm of torque, providing noticeably better driving dynamics.

The van is offered in two lengths — 5,140 mm and 5,390 mm — and maintains a maximum cargo volume of 6.6 m³, thanks to the underfloor battery placement. This design ensures full usability of the interior, making it ideal for transport-oriented businesses where cargo space is critical.

Charging options include an 11 kW AC onboard charger and DC fast charging up to 110 kW. Under optimal conditions, the battery can be recharged from 10 to 80% in approximately 40 minutes.

Pricing for the new eVito in Germany starts at EUR 46,007.93 (including 19% VAT). The van includes a four-year maintenance package and an eight-year/160,000 km battery certificate, offering strong value in terms of total cost of ownership.

Although not available in the United States, the eVito is already on the market in the UK as of early 2025 and qualifies for the government’s Plug-in Van Grant. Availability in the Baltic countries has not been confirmed yet.

As part of its long-term electrification strategy, Mercedes-Benz continues to expand its electric commercial vehicle range, including its VAN.EA platform. However, in early 2024, the company revised its full electrification goals, choosing to maintain production of internal combustion engine models alongside EVs — a flexible response to current market demand and infrastructure readiness.
