Kia will reveal the EV2 concept, production-ready EV4, and PV5 electric van at the Kia EV Day on February 27, 2025. Learn about their design, market positioning, and potential competitors.

Kia is gearing up for a major showcase of its latest electric vehicles. On February 27, 2025, at the Kia EV Day event in Spain, the automaker will unveil three new models: the concept EV2, the production-ready EV4, and the electric van PV5. These new additions are set to expand Kia’s EV lineup and strengthen its presence across multiple market segments.

One of the most intriguing debuts is the Kia EV2—a compact urban electric crossover positioned to compete with the Renault 5 and MINI Cooper. Unlike its European rivals, which emphasize retro styling, the EV2 is expected to feature a higher, SUV-like body, giving it a distinct presence in the segment. Interestingly, the EV2 is reportedly larger than both the Renault 5 and Hyundai Inster, despite belonging to a similar price category. This could give Kia a competitive edge by offering a more spacious and practical EV in the affordable segment.

Meanwhile, the Kia EV4 is designed to challenge the Tesla Model 3. Available in hatchback and sedan body styles, it is expected to feature a 201-hp electric motor and offer two battery configurations: 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh. While full specifications are yet to be revealed, it’s clear that Kia is targeting the premium budget EV market and aiming to compete with established leaders.

The PV5 electric van is tailored for commercial use, providing a sustainable and efficient alternative to conventional delivery vehicles. With its medium-sized body and practical design, it could attract interest from small and medium-sized businesses looking for eco-friendly transport solutions.

Pricing and market availability for these models remain unknown for now. However, given Kia’s ambitions in the EV sector, an aggressive pricing strategy and a broad market launch are likely.

More details on the Kia EV2, EV4, and PV5 will be revealed soon, as the Korean brand officially introduces them at its dedicated event at the end of February.
