Toyota and Lexus GB select Aston Barclay as remarketing partner in the UK. Their models will be sold at Fleet & Finance auctions at Donington Park.

Toyota and Lexus GB have entered into a partnership with British vehicle auctioneer Aston Barclay to enhance their remarketing strategy across the UK. The collaboration will see a variety of Toyota and Lexus models presented at Aston Barclay’s Donington Park facility, one of its five auction centers nationwide.

The vehicles will be showcased at regular Fleet & Finance sale events, with the first auction held on March 6, 2025. While the specific types of vehicles have not been disclosed, the offering is described as diverse, potentially covering different powertrains and vehicle conditions.

Emma Rowberry, Wholesale Remarketing Manager at Toyota GB, cited the physical visibility of vehicles at auctions as a decisive factor in selecting Aston Barclay. With over four decades of experience and an engaged buyer base, Aston Barclay offers a platform that aligns well with Toyota and Lexus’ resale objectives.

Nick Thompson, Chief Customer Officer at Aston Barclay, highlighted the high buyer appetite for quality stock from reputable brands. The company’s hybrid sales model—combining physical auctions with digital solutions—enhances accessibility and reach. Its proprietary Cascade platform integrates tools for valuation, stock management, and sales execution, providing a comprehensive remarketing solution.

Aston Barclay’s Fleet & Finance auctions already feature vehicles from other major organisations such as Volkswagen Financial Services, Stellantis, Europcar, and Motability. The addition of Toyota and Lexus further solidifies its position as a key player in the UK remarketing landscape.

As of now, there is no publicly available information on similar partnerships between Toyota or Lexus and auction platforms in other European markets.
