Two rising stars, two top-tier racing series, and one shared ambition — to win. In 2025, Porsche is doubling down on youth development as Alessandro Ghiretti and Theo Oeverhaus take on the roles of official Porsche Juniors. The pair will embark on a demanding season, racing in both the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland, with 24 races each behind the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup across 12 circuits in eight European countries.

At 23, French driver Alessandro Ghiretti enters the year with an impressive résumé. In 2024, he claimed titles in both the Porsche Carrera Cup France and Carrera Cup Asia, and finished fifth in the Supercup standings. Ghiretti continues his successful partnership with Schumacher CLRT, the French team led by racing pro Côme Ledogar, which recently won the Supercup team championship and expanded into the German Carrera Cup this year.

For Germany’s Theo Oeverhaus, the 2025 season marks his debut as a Porsche Junior, but the 20-year-old is far from inexperienced. Last year, he finished third in the German Carrera Cup and eleventh in the Supercup. He returns to Bonk Motorsport for the national series and joins Proton Huber Competition — the reigning team champions — for the international Supercup campaign.

Both drivers have made strong starts: Ghiretti took a race win and two top-seven finishes in the Australian Carrera Cup, while Oeverhaus secured a victory and a second place in the Sprint Challenge Southern Europe. He will also compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup France to further hone his skills ahead of the main season.

Their goals are clear. Ghiretti is aiming for titles, while Oeverhaus, with a touch of caution, says he wants at least a top-three finish in both championships — though he admits his real target is the crown. With races supporting Formula 1, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and DTM, the calendar promises high-profile competition and significant exposure.

Launched in 1997, the Porsche Junior Programme has a proven track record. Graduates such as Julien Andlauer, Mathieu Jaminet, Matt Campbell, and Laurin Heinrich have gone on to secure factory drives and major endurance racing wins. Now, Ghiretti and Oeverhaus have their turn to show they belong among the elite.
