In the snow-covered St. Moritz, Maserati showcased its refreshed GranCabrio lineup, capturing the attention of car enthusiasts and experts worldwide. The I.C.E. St. Moritz event, renowned for its unique blend of elegance and speed, served as the perfect stage for presenting the Italian classic in a new light.

The spotlight was on the GranCabrio Trofeo, powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. Delivering an impressive 542 hp at 6,500 rpm and 650 Nm of torque, the model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, emphasizing Maserati's ambition in the high-performance convertible segment. Complementing the lineup was the all-electric GranCabrio Folgore, featuring three 300-kilowatt motors and a 92.5 kWh battery. With its 800-volt architecture, the Folgore supports fast charging, reflecting the brand’s commitment to environmentally friendly technologies.

Another highlight of the event was the exclusive GranCabrio Trofeo ONE of ONE – THE I.C.E., crafted under the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program. This initiative allows customers to personalize their vehicles with unique color schemes and materials. For the premiere, designers opted for a Verde Giada body, black brake calipers, and striking gloss-black wheels (20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear). The interior features perforated ice-colored leather, an embroidered Trident logo on the headrests, a Sonus faber audio system with 19 speakers, and carbon fiber trim elements.

The frozen lake of St. Moritz added a special charm to the event. The I.C.E. St. Moritz, or International Concours of Elegance, is an annual gathering that brings together collectors and car enthusiasts, creating an atmosphere where style and history meet modern technology. Maserati has chosen this prestigious event to unveil its latest models, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to elegance and premium quality.

The introduction of the new GranCabrio versions demonstrates Maserati’s determination to preserve its heritage while adapting to contemporary demands. Notably, the launch of the electric Folgore may serve as Maserati’s answer to the growing demand for environmentally friendly vehicles in the luxury convertible segment. Given current market trends, this model could open up new opportunities for the brand while maintaining the spirit of Italian automotive craftsmanship.
