Citroën has presented its renewed lineup at the Brussels Motor Show, including the ELO concept car, the new C5 Aircross and its debut in Formula E. Read the details.

Citroën is using the Brussels Motor Show 2026 as a stage to present a broad renewal of the brand, combining production models, future concepts and motorsport ambitions. The brand’s stand, opening to the public on 9 January, is built around the idea of accessible, intelligent and emotionally engaging mobility that Citroën sees as central to its strategy in the coming years.

At the heart of the display is the Citroën ELO, unveiled in Brussels as a world premiere. Measuring 4.10 metres in length, the fully electric concept is described as a laboratory of ideas, reflecting changing lifestyles and new ways of using the car. ELO offers an unusually flexible interior: a standard four-seat layout can be reconfigured to carry up to six people or transformed for relaxation, work or leisure. Developed with innovative materials in cooperation with Goodyear and Decathlon, the concept underlines a philosophy in which the vehicle adapts to the user rather than the other way around.

Alongside the concept, Citroën is presenting the new C5 Aircross, repositioned as the brand’s flagship in the C-SUV segment. The model combines a more assertive design with a wide range of electrified powertrains. Citroën highlights hybrid versions with a total driving range of up to 950 km, a plug-in hybrid capable of more than 100 km in urban electric driving and close to 1,100 km combined, as well as a fully electric version with a claimed range of up to 520 km. Inside, the focus is on comfort, digital interfaces and the latest driver assistance systems.

The stand also features the Citroën Ami Dark Side, a new interpretation of the electric micro-mobility vehicle that has become one of the brand’s most recognisable products. Finished in a matte Black Night paint with contrasting graphic details, the Dark Side edition adds a more rebellious tone while retaining the Ami’s compact size, simplicity and accessibility. Orders for this version open on Halloween night, with first deliveries scheduled for January 2026.

Citroën’s renewed momentum is further illustrated by its entry into the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. A single-seater in French tricolour livery is on display, marking the brand’s arrival in all-electric circuit racing. The debut has already delivered tangible results, with Nick Cassidy securing a third-place finish at the opening round of the season in São Paulo. Formula E is presented as both a competitive challenge and a technological platform, feeding experience back into Citroën’s electric road cars.

The brand’s press conference will take place on the stand on 9 January at 9:40, attended by Citroën CEO Xavier Chardon and Head of Design Pierre Leclercq. Together, the models and projects shown in Brussels outline Citroën’s current direction: combining practicality, electric innovation and expressive design across every level of mobility, from microcars to concepts and motorsport.
