GMC Sierra EV Adds AT4 and Elevation to Complete Lineup

The 2026 GMC Sierra EV introduces AT4 and Elevation trims, expanding options with new tech, off-road features, and Ultium battery choices.
GMC is raising the stakes in the electric pickup market with the debut of the expanded 2026 Sierra EV lineup. Alongside the previously introduced Denali, two new trims — AT4 and Elevation — now join the family, offering more tailored options for a wider range of buyers.
The Elevation trim, geared toward urban and everyday utility, starts at an MSRP of $64,495 (including destination charges). The off-road-focused AT4 begins at $81,395, while the top-tier Denali in its Max Range configuration climbs to $100,695. All variants are built on GM’s Ultium platform and will be manufactured at the retooled Orion Assembly plant in Michigan.
Each model offers a specific set of battery options: the Elevation comes with Standard or Extended Range batteries, AT4 with Extended or Max Range, while Denali offers all three — Standard, Extended, and Max. Official range figures are yet to be disclosed, with GMC planning to release those closer to launch.
Fast-charging capabilities are confirmed, with the AT4 supporting up to 350kW DC and the Elevation up to 300kW. The AT4 stands out with its off-road prowess — 2 inches of added ground clearance, 35-inch tires, and a trim-exclusive Terrain Mode that integrates one-pedal drive and CrabWalk functionality. It also includes standard Super Cruise hands-free driving, making it a robust choice for both adventure and comfort. Meanwhile, the Elevation trim focuses on tech and practicality, featuring a 16.8-inch center touchscreen, front eTrunk, and available Super Cruise.
As the flagship, Denali gets all the premium touches: a panoramic fixed-glass roof, adaptive air suspension, and wheels up to 24 inches in diameter. Customers will be able to tailor their Denali with a wide range of interiors, features, and battery configurations.
Deliveries are expected to begin in summer 2025. According to GM Authority, production is scheduled to start on May 19, with dealer orders opening April 10. GMC’s push into the EV space comes amid growing competition from the likes of the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, and Tesla Cybertruck — each with impressive range and towing specs. With the expanded Sierra EV lineup, GMC aims to offer not a compromise, but a robust alternative that blends EV performance with the brand’s hallmark capability and precision.
