Porsche and Frauscher present electric cars and boat at boot Düsseldorf 2026
Porsche reports on a joint debut with Frauscher at boot Düsseldorf 2026, unveiling an electric sports boat, Macan Turbo concept and Cayenne Electric. Learn more.
Porsche and the Austrian boat builder Frauscher are preparing a prominent joint appearance at boot Düsseldorf 2026, where they will present a selection of electric highlights united by a shared vision of electrification and bespoke design. The centrepiece of the display will be the new Frauscher × Porsche 790 Spectre, an electric sports boat developed from the ground up around the high-voltage drive system of the fully electric Porsche Macan.
The world premiere of the 790 Spectre marks a new chapter in the collaboration between the two companies, which have already established a presence in the electric boat segment. Built around the Macan Electric powertrain architecture, the project underlines Porsche’s ambition to transfer automotive technology into adjacent areas of mobility. The debut of the boat demonstrates how car-based engineering solutions can be adapted for use on the water without compromising performance or design.
Alongside the boat, Porsche will showcase an exclusively customised concept car based on the Macan Turbo. Both the SUV and the sports boat share a coordinated exterior and interior design language, highlighting the scope of personalisation offered by Frauscher and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Presented together, they illustrate how individual customer requests can be realised across different forms of electric mobility.
Another key exhibit will be the new Porsche Cayenne Electric, making its German debut in Düsseldorf following its world premiere in November 2025. The brand’s second fully electric SUV combines Porsche E-Performance with everyday practicality. Particular attention is drawn to its towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes, positioning the electric Cayenne as a capable tow vehicle for large sports boats and reinforcing the close link between Porsche’s automotive and marine presentations.
Porsche’s presence at boot Düsseldorf 2026 extends beyond the exhibition stand. As the official mobility partner of the event, the company will provide a shuttle service throughout the show, emphasising the real-world usability of its electric models.
The joint showcase with Frauscher and the presentation of multiple electric products underline Porsche’s broader view of electromobility as a cross-sector platform. With technologies developed for the road now appearing on the water, the collaboration signals a long-term direction in which Porsche’s electric expertise increasingly reaches beyond the automotive world.
