Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Limited Edition brings bold design and enhanced features

Mercedes-AMG has unveiled an exclusive version of one of its most in-demand vehicles — the CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé and Cabriolet — under the name “Limited Edition”. This special release features striking visual details, an enhanced equipment package, and will be available only from July 2025 until May 2026.

Technically, the model stays true to its high-performance roots. It’s powered by a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine with twin charging, delivering 330 kW (449 hp) and 560 Nm of torque — with a temporary Overboost up to 600 Nm. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission and fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system contribute to its agile dynamics and sharp handling.

Visually, the Limited Edition stands apart. The Coupé comes in a matte MANUFAKTUR graphite grey magno, while the Cabriolet is painted in an exclusive matte spectral blue. Yellow accents for the Coupé and black/blue for the Cabriolet emphasize individuality. Both roll on edition-specific 20-inch wheels — forged with yellow rim flanges for the Coupé and polished alloy for the Cabriolet.

Each variant gets exclusive equipment packages. Only the Coupé features the AMG Night Package, Night Package II, and AMG Styling Package with high-gloss black aerodynamic enhancements. The Cabriolet includes two carbon fibre exterior packages. Both share the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package, with active engine mounts and a MICROCUT carbon/microfibre AMG steering wheel.

The interior is tailored for each version: black Nappa leather with yellow stitching for the Coupé and white Nappa with black accents for the Cabriolet. Carbon trim and illuminated AMG door sills in matching colours complete the look. An AMG indoor car cover is also included.

Importantly, Mercedes-AMG has not specified whether the total production volume will be limited. Sales will begin in mid-2025, and interest is already rising due to the limited availability. For some markets, including Russia and the CIS, availability remains unconfirmed. In the US, the standard CLE 53 starts at $74,300, while in Germany, it begins at €88,790 — indicating that the Limited Edition will command a higher price tag.
