Stellantis presents multi-energy vehicles and experiences in Detroit
Stellantis outlines its multi-energy vehicle lineup and interactive plans for the 2026 Detroit Auto Show, according to the company. Read what will be presented.
Stellantis is using the 2026 Detroit Auto Show as a showcase for its strategy built around customer choice, presenting a broad mix of internal combustion, hybrid and fully electric vehicles under one roof. Rather than narrowing its focus, the company highlights flexibility, positioning the buyer as the final decision-maker in how they want to move.
Open to the public from January 17 through January 25 at Huntington Place, the show is not only about premieres but also about experience. Stellantis places strong emphasis on interaction, offering hands-on demonstrations and ride-along activities, including the return of Camp Jeep, one of the most recognizable attractions designed to demonstrate real-world off-road capability.
Awards provide important context for the company’s presence in Detroit. Several Stellantis models are finalists for the North American Car and Truck of the Year honors, while the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is in contention for the prestigious EyesOn Design Awards, traditionally presented during the auto show’s media preview days.
The Jeep display balances heritage with electrification. The all-new 2026 Jeep Cherokee, equipped with a hybrid powertrain, anchors the lineup with a focus on efficiency and everyday usability. Alongside it stands the fully electric Jeep Recon, the brand’s first Trail Rated EV, signaling that electrification does not replace Jeep’s off-road identity but reshapes it.
Ram approaches the show from an emotional angle, leaning into iconic nameplates. The return of the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 to the Ram 1500 lineup and the public appearance of the 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX underline the brand’s commitment to high-performance combustion engines, even as electrification advances. At the same time, Ram presents the electric Ram 1500 REV and highlights its renewed presence in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Dodge reinforces its multi-energy philosophy by placing gasoline-powered Chargers, the electric Charger Daytona and the extreme Durango SRT Jailbreak side by side. The lineup reflects the brand’s effort to preserve muscle-car character while expanding into new technological territory.
Chrysler focuses on practicality and audience engagement. The Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept reimagines the minivan as a vehicle for exploration, while the return of the Stow ’n Go Challenge draws attention to the brand’s long-standing seating and storage system through direct participation.
Beyond individual brands, Stellantis also highlights its role in America250. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram serve as exclusive automotive partners for the nationwide commemoration, with limited-edition A250 vehicles previewed as part of the Detroit display.
Framing the entire presentation is a broader strategic message. Stellantis underscores a $13 billion investment in the United States over the coming years, tied to new product launches, expanded manufacturing and thousands of new jobs, giving its Detroit Auto Show presence clear economic and industrial significance.
