From April 12 to 21, Stuttgart will once again take centre stage in women's tennis as the 48th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix unfolds at the Porsche Arena. With eight of the world's top 10 players confirmed, including world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and two-time Stuttgart champion Iga Swiatek, the WTA 500 event promises a stellar week of elite competition. At stake: 470 ranking points, a prize of over €100,000, and one of the most coveted trophies on tour — an all-electric Porsche Macan Turbo.

The tournament’s prestige is underscored not only by the player lineup but also by its consistent acclaim from athletes and fans alike. “It’s one of the best events on the calendar,” said Coco Gauff, the reigning US Open champion and WTA Finals winner. She will be joined by fellow top contenders Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva, Jasmine Paolini, Qinwen Zheng, and Emma Navarro, all ranked inside the top 10.

All eyes will be on Aryna Sabalenka’s return. A three-time finalist in Stuttgart, she has been denied the title each time — twice by Swiatek. For the Belarusian, it’s another opportunity to finally clinch the crown she has narrowly missed. For Swiatek, it’s a chance to reinforce her dominance at an event she has already conquered twice.

German fans will also have plenty to cheer for. With wild cards granted to Eva Lys, Laura Siegemund, Tatjana Maria, and Jule Niemeier, the host nation will be well represented in the main draw. Nastasja Schunk and Mariella Thamm will compete in qualifying, both part of the Porsche Talent Team — an initiative central to the brand’s commitment to nurturing young tennis talent in Germany.

The tournament opens with a fun-filled "Kick & Serve" exhibition match on April 14, pairing former VfB Stuttgart football stars like Cacau and Zdravko Kuzmanovic with tennis professionals including Andrea Petkovic. It’s part of Porsche’s long-standing approach to delivering an emotional sports experience, rooted in its tradition since launching the event in 1978.

Beyond the action on court, Porsche continues to emphasize social responsibility. Its "Aces for Charity" initiative will once again donate €100 for every ace to support children's charities Stuttgarter Kinderstiftung and Stiftung Agapedia. While past fundraising totals remain undisclosed, the initiative has become a key part of the brand's social mission.

Fans worldwide can follow the action thanks to extensive TV and streaming coverage. In Germany, matches will be shown on Eurosport, Sky Sport, and discovery+. Globally, the tournament will be broadcast in over 100 countries. The final will take place on Easter Sunday, April 20 at 1:00 PM local time.
