Bentley launches new Nuremberg showroom with Bacalar and hybrid GT

Bentley opens a new showroom in Nuremberg, showcasing the Bacalar Car Zero and Continental GT Hybrid. Explore their sustainable luxury vision.
The city of Nuremberg witnessed a landmark event as Bentley officially opened its latest state-of-the-art showroom, signaling both an expansion in Germany and a deepening of the brand’s sustainable vision. Located at Nopitschstraße 3, the facility features a 370 m² exhibition area and a modern 300 m² service workshop equipped with three dedicated Bentley lifts.
The launch event brought together loyal customers, potential buyers, and company representatives. Among the key speakers were Peter Joachim, General Manager of Bentley Nuremberg, and Richard Leopold, Regional Director EMEA at Bentley Motors, who underscored Germany’s role as the brand’s largest European market, especially as Bentley rolls out the fourth generation of the Continental GT.
A major highlight of the evening was the reveal of the Bacalar Car Zero, an engineering prototype developed as part of a rigorous pre-production testing program. Painted in eye-catching Scarab Green and crafted with materials such as British wool and 5,000-year-old Riverwood, the vehicle exemplifies Bentley’s Coachbuilt craftsmanship. Each of the 12 Bacalars produced is a bespoke masterpiece.
Also showcased was the new Continental GT, powered by the revolutionary Ultra Performance Hybrid system. Featuring a 4.0-liter V8 engine paired with a 190 hp electric motor, the model delivers a combined output of 782 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, it also offers an impressive all-electric range of 81 km, merging supercar performance with everyday usability.
This launch is a cornerstone of Bentley’s Beyond100+ strategy, which includes a £2.5 billion investment to transform its Crewe headquarters into a pioneering "Dream Factory." Bentley aims to launch its first fully electric vehicle in 2026 and transition entirely to electric mobility by 2035.
Historically, Bentley’s retail expansions have been tied to strong sales growth and record profitability. With the new Nuremberg showroom, Bentley reinforces its position in Europe while accelerating its journey toward sustainable luxury mobility.
