Porsche presents the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre at boot Düsseldorf 2026, pairing an electric sports boat with the Macan Turbo Concept Lago. Learn more.

The joint project between Porsche and Austrian boatbuilder Frauscher Boats enters a new phase with the world premiere of the fully electric Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre at boot Düsseldorf 2026. The new sports boat has been engineered entirely around the electric powertrain of the Porsche Macan Turbo, continuing the partners’ exploration of how automotive EV technology can be translated onto the water.

At the core of the 790 Spectre is an architecture designed specifically for Porsche components. A high-voltage battery of around 100 kWh, a rear-mounted PSM electric motor delivering up to 400 kW, and the associated control electronics are integrated into a newly developed hull. Compared with earlier Frauscher x Porsche models, this hull is lighter, shorter and narrower, underlining the focus on agility and efficiency.

The boat’s debut is accompanied by the unveiling of the Macan Turbo Concept Lago, a bespoke concept vehicle created by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur as a visual counterpart to the 790 Spectre. Boat and SUV share a unified design language, highlighted by the Darkteal Metallic finish from Porsche’s Paint to Sample programme and by numerous matching exterior and interior details. The interior concepts flow in both directions: the boat adopts characteristic Porsche elements, while the concept car incorporates maritime materials such as real wood and a compass in place of the traditional Sport Chrono stopwatch.

The 790 Spectre builds on the established collaboration between Porsche and Frauscher, which has already produced electric versions of the Fantom and Fantom Air. These earlier projects attracted significant attention within the marine industry and even set a speed record at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge. The new model represents the next step in this evolution, further refining the transfer of high-performance electric technology from road to water.

Porsche’s presence at boot Düsseldorf 2026 also includes the German premiere of the Cayenne Electric. As Porsche’s second fully electric SUV, it is presented not only as a flagship model but also as a practical towing vehicle, capable of pulling boat trailers weighing up to 3.5 tonnes, depending on specification. Together, the exhibits form a coherent narrative of electrified mobility across different domains.

While the Macan Turbo Concept Lago remains a design study, the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre is available to order. The project as a whole signals a broader direction: electrification is no longer confined to the automotive world, but is increasingly shaping a shared technological language between road and water.
