Alfa Romeo confirms its participation in Retromobile 2026 in Paris, presenting classic models and the Tonale alongside the Alfa Romeo Classiche program.

Alfa Romeo has confirmed its participation in Retromobile 2026, one of the world’s most significant events for classic car enthusiasts and collectors. The show will take place in Paris from January 28 to February 1 and will mark a milestone edition, as Retromobile celebrates its 50th anniversary. For the brand, the event represents more than a prestigious appearance—it is an opportunity to underline the continuous link between its historic legacy and its current direction.

At the heart of the display will be three landmark classic models, each reflecting a defining chapter in Alfa Romeo’s evolution. Visitors will be able to see the 1966 Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider “Duetto,” the car that launched the iconic Spider lineage and celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2026. Alongside it will stand the extremely rare Alfa Romeo 750 Competizione from 1955, a racing prototype that never progressed beyond the experimental stage and was built in only two examples. Completing the historic trio is the Alfa Romeo 33/2 Periscopica from 1967, a model that laid the groundwork for the Tipo 33 family and embodied the brand’s racing ambitions of the late 1960s.

In contrast to these historic vehicles, Alfa Romeo will also present the current Tonale. Its presence highlights the brand’s intention to treat heritage not as a static museum concept, but as a living reference that continues to influence modern production models. The juxtaposition of classic icons and a contemporary SUV is a central theme of Alfa Romeo’s participation at Retromobile 2026.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to explore the Alfa Romeo Classiche Program, part of the wider Stellantis Heritage initiative. Designed for owners of historic and collectible vehicles, the program offers services such as certificates of origin and authenticity, as well as restoration and maintenance work carried out in full compliance with original technical specifications. Through this initiative, Alfa Romeo reinforces its commitment to preserving and enhancing its historical assets while providing long-term support for collectors.

By taking part in the anniversary edition of Retromobile, Alfa Romeo once again positions history as an active element of its brand identity rather than a static legacy. The choice of exhibits and the focus on the Classiche Program suggest that the marque will continue to strengthen its role within the classic car world, using its past as a foundation for shaping its future.
