Porsche Ice Experience Canada celebrates 15 years in 2026, with winter driving programmes near Montreal as part of Porsche’s global Ice Experience network.

In February 2026, Porsche Ice Experience Canada will mark its 15th anniversary, celebrating a programme that has become a long-standing part of Porsche’s global winter driving initiatives. What began in 2011 has since evolved into a key North American destination within the wider Porsche Experience network.

The anniversary season will once again take place at Mécaglisse in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, around 90 minutes north of Montreal. Designed specifically for snow and ice driving, the facility features multiple track layouts and dedicated skid pads, allowing drivers to explore vehicle dynamics in controlled winter conditions.

The 2026 programme offers a range of levels tailored to different experience backgrounds. Entry formats such as Ice Trial and Ice Intro focus on the fundamentals of vehicle control on low-grip surfaces, while more advanced stages — Ice Experience, Ice Force and Ice Force+ — are aimed at drivers seeking higher-speed training and greater technical depth. The Ice for HER format will also return, following its introduction in the previous season, offering a programme created for female Porsche enthusiasts and led by female instructors.

Participants train behind the wheel of the latest Porsche 911 models, including all-wheel-drive variants, under the guidance of Porsche-certified instructors. The focus is on developing confidence, precision and control, with exercises that highlight how Porsche sports cars perform when traction is limited by snow and ice.

Porsche Ice Experience Canada forms part of a wider international portfolio of winter programmes. Alongside Canada, Porsche operates Ice Experience events in Finland — including advanced training north of the Arctic Circle — as well as in Mongolia and selected European locations. Within this global context, the Canadian programme stands out for combining intensive driver training with the surrounding winter landscape and leisure opportunities near Mont-Tremblant.

As the programme enters its 15th year, Porsche Ice Experience Canada continues to serve not only as a driving school, but as a setting where the brand’s emphasis on balance, control and driver involvement is tested and refined under some of the most demanding seasonal conditions.
