Bugatti has revealed the physical world premiere of the one-off F.K.P. Hommage at Rétromobile 2026 in Paris. The unveiling took place within the inaugural Ultimate Supercar Garage, a new space dedicated entirely to modern supercars, and formed a key moment in a year marking the 20th anniversary of the Bugatti Veyron.

The F.K.P. Hommage is the second creation from Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire, an ultra-exclusive initiative focused on crafting singular vehicles that combine extreme personalization with deep references to the brand’s heritage. The project is dedicated to Ferdinand Karl Piech, whose vision and uncompromising ambition led to the creation of the Veyron and reshaped the concept of the hyper-GT.

Following its digital debut earlier in the year, the Paris presentation reinforced the link between Bugatti’s past and present. Built on the latest evolution of the W16 platform, the F.K.P. Hommage features a quad-turbocharged engine producing 1,600 horsepower, described by Bugatti as the culmination of two decades of engineering development that began with the Veyron.

Visually, the car draws clear inspiration from its predecessor. The leaning-back stance, the descending belt line and the overall proportions echo the Veyron, while enlarged air intakes, a three-dimensional horseshoe grille machined from solid aluminum and a complex multi-layer Rouge Jubilé paint finish introduce a contemporary interpretation. Black-tinted exposed carbon fiber adds contrast and depth to the exterior.

The interior represents a notable evolution compared with previous W16-based models. Solid aluminum components machined from single blocks, a circular steering wheel inspired by the original Veyron and the bespoke Ettore Grand fabric in Havana define the cabin. At the center of the dashboard sits a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon, integrated at the customer’s request and serving as a functional tribute to Bugatti’s engineering heritage.

The unveiling brought together key figures from the brand. Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac highlighted the symbolic importance of the car in the context of the Veyron’s anniversary, while Head of Design Frank Heyl explained the philosophy behind the project. President of Bugatti Automobiles Christophe Piochon, who was part of the original Veyron launch team, reflected on the enduring quality standards established two decades ago.

Displayed alongside the F.K.P. Hommage was an original Veyron 16.4, as well as a selection of Bugatti-certified Veyron models presented through La Maison Pur Sang. This juxtaposition illustrated the evolution of Bugatti’s ideas, from the car that redefined what a road-going vehicle could achieve to today’s focus on bespoke craftsmanship and individual expression.

Bugatti’s presence at Rétromobile 2026 went beyond a retrospective celebration. Through Programme Solitaire and the F.K.P. Hommage, the marque signaled its intention to carry forward the spirit of innovation that defined the Veyron era, translating it into a future shaped by exclusivity, heritage and highly personalized automotive creation.
