Car and Driver has named seven Honda models as 2026 Editors’ Choice winners, including Accord, Civic and CR-V. Explore the full list and details.

Honda has secured a major recognition from Car and Driver, with seven of its vehicles earning 2026 Editors’ Choice awards across multiple categories.

The list of winners highlights Honda’s broad presence in both passenger cars and SUVs. The honored models include the 2026 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid, the 2026 Honda Civic lineup including the Civic Hybrid, as well as the performance-focused Civic Si and Civic Type R. In the crossover and SUV segment, the editors selected the Honda CR-V, CR-V Hybrid, and the all-new 2026 Honda Passport.

According to Honda, Car and Driver’s Editors’ Choice honorees are selected from more than 450 vehicles tested, rated, and ranked annually across dozens of segments. Only models receiving top scores of 9 to 10 earn a place on the final list, representing vehicles the publication considers standout choices in their respective classes.

The announcement also points to Honda’s strong performance in Car and Driver’s other flagship awards. Honda says it earned four 2026 10Best awards, maintaining its position as the brand with the most 10Best wins for the fourth consecutive year. The automaker also claims its total 10Best trophies have reached 99, the highest in the award’s history.

Among the highlights is the Honda Accord’s long-running dominance. Honda states that the Accord has appeared on the 10Best list 40 times, including an uninterrupted streak of 28 years, making it the most awarded vehicle in the history of the program.

For Honda, the inclusion of the all-new 2026 Passport adds particular weight to this year’s recognition, as the two-row midsize SUV category remains one of the most competitive in the market.

With hybrids featured prominently among the winning models, Honda’s results suggest that electrified versions of mainstream vehicles are increasingly shaping how major industry awards are being decided—and may continue to influence buyer attention in 2026.
