McLaren presents the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition, a 10-car MSO series celebrating its 10th F1 Constructors’ title. Learn the details.

McLaren has chosen to celebrate one of the most remarkable seasons in its modern history not only with trophies, but with a road car designed to turn racing success into a true collector’s statement. The company has unveiled the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition, a special version of its hybrid supercar created to mark McLaren’s 10th Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship.

The run will be exceptionally limited: only ten customer cars will be produced. The project has been curated by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the division responsible for the brand’s rarest and most bespoke creations. The concept is built around a clear message — to visually and emotionally connect the Artura Spider with the championship-winning McLaren MCL39 Formula 1 car that delivered the team’s 2025 title.

The exterior is defined by a hand-painted livery combining MSO Bespoke Myan Orange with Onyx Black. Key highlights include bespoke “10” motifs, each featuring ten stars and detailed outlines of every McLaren Formula 1 car that has secured a Constructors’ Championship. The specification is further enhanced with the Black Pack, 10-spoke Super-Lightweight Dynamo forged alloy wheels in Gloss Black, and Myan Orange brake calipers with black McLaren logos.

Inside, the car receives a set of MSO-exclusive details designed to reinforce its anniversary theme. The cabin features “10” headrest embroidery, a Myan Orange painted 12 o’clock steering wheel marker with a “10” detail, and a custom casement plaque on the centre console. The interior trim pairs Performance Carbon Black Alcantara with Jet Black Nappa Leather, complemented by McLaren Vision Orange piping.

Among the most striking features are the extended satin carbon fibre sill finishers, which will be hand-signed by McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Each car also comes with a dedicated Track Record Plaque installed in the luggage compartment, listing McLaren’s 2025 season achievements in terms of wins, pole positions and fastest laps. Buyers will also receive a collector’s keepsake celebrating the 2025 Constructors’ Championship.

The 2025 season itself provided a strong foundation for such a tribute. McLaren secured the Constructors’ title at the Singapore Grand Prix, clinching the championship with six rounds remaining. The final numbers underline the scale of the campaign: 14 victories, 13 pole positions, 34 podium finishes and a total of 833 points. In parallel, Lando Norris claimed the Drivers’ Championship, sealing the crown by just two points.

McLaren says the project is about more than the car itself. Chief Commercial Officer Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer noted that the brand aims to make the connection fans feel not only emotional, but tangible — allowing clients to own a piece of McLaren history.

With MSO continuing to expand its role and McLaren leaning into collectible road cars tied directly to racing achievements, the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition stands out as more than a commemorative release. With only ten examples planned and a level of detailing rooted in a championship narrative, the model is set to become one of the most talked-about Artura editions to date.
