Lamborghini Temerario Unleashed: A 920HP Hybrid Supercar with Racing DNA

Discover the Lamborghini Temerario — a hybrid supercar with 920HP, V8 Biturbo engine, Drift Mode, and 10,000 RPM performance. Explore specs and debut highlights.
On April 7, 2025, at Misano World Circuit in Italy, Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory driver Andrea Caldarelli tested the all-new Lamborghini Temerario to its full potential — the brand’s first production supercar to reach 10,000 rpm.
The Temerario is far more than a step toward electrification; it’s a bold technological leap infused with Lamborghini’s motorsport DNA. At its heart lies a newly developed 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, paired with three electric motors, delivering a total output of 920 hp. This allows for blistering acceleration: 0–100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed exceeding 340 km/h.
Engineering highlights include titanium connecting rods, a flat-plane crankshaft with even firing order, and a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating on valvetrain components. These elements enable the engine to rev up to a staggering 11,000 rpm, delivering razor-sharp throttle response and a thrilling sound signature.
According to Caldarelli, the driving experience evokes sensations akin to a race car — with a linear power curve, distinctive exhaust tone, and thrilling handling. He also tested the Temerario’s Launch Control and the newly introduced Drift Mode, which features three adjustable levels from subtle oversteer to full drift for experienced drivers.
In addition to Misano, the Temerario underwent rigorous testing at the Nürburgring, where it was repeatedly spotted without camouflage — a clear sign of its track-focused intent. The model is set to serve as the base for upcoming GT3 and Super Trofeo variants, expected in 2026 and 2027 respectively.
Initial media reviews highlight the supercar’s precision handling, cornering stability, and advanced suspension setup. Inside, the Temerario features a tri-screen cockpit, including a 9.1-inch passenger display, gesture-based control, and a Sonus Faber premium audio system. It offers approximately 10 km of EV range from a 3.8 kWh battery and has a curb weight of 1,690 kg.
Sales in the UK are expected to begin in the first half of 2025, with the standard version priced at £260,035 and the track-focused Alleggerita variant at £297,235.
