Disney+ now available in select Mercedes-Benz models with MBUX

Mercedes-Benz integrates Disney+ into its MBUX system, offering seamless in-car streaming in over 40 countries. Discover models, features, and availability.
Mercedes-Benz is raising the bar for in-car entertainment by integrating Disney+ directly into its MBUX infotainment system. Starting in spring 2025, customers driving the latest E-Class, CLE, GLC, and C-Class (model year 2024/1) across more than 40 countries will be able to access the popular streaming platform from inside their vehicle. The new CLA, arriving later this summer, will also support the feature.
To enjoy Disney+ on the go, users will need an active Disney+ subscription and the MBUX Entertainment Package Plus. The app is seamlessly embedded into the MBUX interface, offering intuitive access to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic content. While the front passenger can stream shows on the dedicated screen during a drive, the central display only functions when the car is stationary — a safety-first approach to prevent driver distraction.
Streaming quality gets an additional boost when paired with the optional Burmester 3D or 4D sound system, creating a near-theatre experience on the road. Disney+ subscribers will also enjoy full access to their personal profiles, allowing them to resume watching titles started at home, now on the move.
Unlike many rivals, Mercedes-Benz continues to diversify its entertainment offerings. In addition to Disney+, the automaker has partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment to deliver RIDEVU — a service featuring IMAX Enhanced content designed for immersive in-car viewing.
Existing vehicle owners can update their MBUX software via the Mercedes Me app, a USB drive, or by visiting an authorized dealership. It’s important to note that downloaded Disney+ content is available for 30 days offline, and regional restrictions may apply.
Markus Schäfer, Chief Technology Officer at Mercedes-Benz Group AG, emphasized that this partnership with Disney+ reflects the brand’s dedication to delivering solutions that align with customers’ lifestyles and transform travel into an adventure.
