Porsche Showcases Electromobility Legacy at Curvistan Bangkok

Discover Porsche's electrifying history at Curvistan Bangkok. Explore iconic EVs like the 918 Spyder and 919 Hybrid. Visit until 18 August 2025.
A new chapter of automotive heritage unfolds in the heart of Bangkok as Curvistan launches its latest exhibition: “Electrifying Past. Present. Future.” Dedicated to Porsche’s electrification journey, the showcase offers an immersive look at how the brand’s legacy and innovation have shaped the future of high-performance mobility.
The exhibition begins where it all started — with Ferdinand Porsche’s groundbreaking “Lohner-Porsche System,” introduced in 1900. It featured the world’s first electric wheel-hub motors and was unveiled at the Paris Exposition. This bold invention laid the foundation for Porsche’s longstanding vision of sustainable innovation.
Fast forward over a century, visitors are greeted by the brand’s modern electric icons. The 918 Spyder hybrid hypercar demonstrates how Porsche integrated motorsport expertise into electrified road cars. Sharing the spotlight is the 919 Hybrid race car, a three-time Le Mans champion. More than a track legend, it pioneered the brand’s 800-volt technology — a system now powering the Taycan lineup, enabling faster charging and reduced cable weight.
Guests can also move from admiration to action through the Porsche BEV Experience. The hands-on program invites attendees to test drive all-electric models like the Taycan and the Macan — the latter being Porsche’s first electric SUV, designed to maintain the marque’s signature performance and precision.
Since opening in August 2024, Curvistan Bangkok has become a cultural hub for car enthusiasts. The current exhibition is curated by Stefan Bogner, founder of the acclaimed Curves magazine and the creative mind behind Curvistan. His previous installations in Munich and Singapore helped establish this unique automotive concept space.
The exhibition runs daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Sukhumvit 38, adjacent to BTS Thong Lor Station, and will remain open through 18 August 2025. More than a display of vehicles, it’s an invitation to explore Porsche’s electrified spirit — from visionary beginnings to a dynamic, zero-emission tomorrow.
